A 2-year-old girl was saved from a pool in Chandler Monday after nearly drowning, fire officials said.
The girl, whose name was not released, fell into a pool without a fence at 4:46 p.m. at a house near 132nd Street and Chandler Boulevard, said Battalion Chief Dan Couch, a Chandler fire spokesman.
She was visiting from San Diego and her uncle pulled her out of the pool and performed mouth to mouth, Couch said.
She came to and started crying and she was taken to Banner Desert Medical Center for evaluation, he said.
