A 3-year-old girl was taken to the hospital after she was pulled from a pool in Phoenix Monday afternoon, Phoenix Fire Department dispatcher Matt Mallon said.
Firefighters received a call about a near drowning at an apartment complex near I-17 and Highland Road shortly after 4:15 p.m., Mallon said.
The toddler was conscious and breathing when firefighters arrived, Mallon said.
The girl's father rode in the ambulance with her to St. Joseph's Hospital.
