SCOTTSDALE - One woman died in a hot tub and another nearly drowned in a pool this weekend.

Doris Taylor, 70, of Scottsdale was found dead in a community hot tub at about noon Sunday at Heritage Village in the 8800 block of North Scottsdale Road, said Mike Clark, a Rural/Metro spokesman.

Taylor was pronounced dead at the scene, and there were no signs of trauma or foul play, said Officer Scott Reed, a spokesman for the Scottsdale police department.

A woman in her 20s was found in a pool at an apartment complex at about 10:40 p.m. Sunday in the 11000 block of North 115th Street. She was transported to Scottsdale Healthcare Shea, Clark said.
